the nicest thing that happened today was xin's msg at 6:40pm:

i ran excitedly to my roof garden and looked very hard at the sky but all i saw was dark clouds. then being the sweet bestfriend that she is, xin promptly sent me an MMS of the pretty rainbows.

(i think the rainbows in singapore's skies looked much lovelier.)

the awe-inspiring sight lifted my spirits but it's the thought behind the msg that warmed my heart. thanks xinxin, i'm glad we live a stone's throw away from each other. (if you throw the stone with a lot of strength i'm sure it will reach me.)

on a side note, i wish oil prices will stop rising. seriously.
